Zapier Integration – Nextiz Support

What is Zapier?

Zapier is a product that allows end users to integrate the web applications they use and automate workflows.
With the help of Zapier apps data can be shared to other apps by using zap feature of Zapier or a custom integration app.
By default, Zapier already connect with more than 4000 apps like Survey Monkey, Mailchimp, Gmail etc.

Workflow to create a Zap

Step 1:

First login to your Zapier account.

Then there is a Zaps menu and Create Zap button on the left sidebar.

Step 2:

As you will click on the above create zap button, zap creation page will be loaded and, on the page, user can search any app. By selecting the app zap creation can be started.

As we have integrated Nextiz app in the Zapier so a new user only can get the access to this Nextiz app by getting invite from the admin account on Zapier.

Admin account would be that have added the Nextiz integration

Note: Nextiz app is private as of now so need to send invitation to any user/host to get access to Nextiz app data.

Step 3:

After selecting the “Nextiz” app a new screen will display, where all information will be selected to create and publish new zap.

Choose an event from the above screen “Choose app & event” like there is an event list “New Registration” and “New Survey”. For now, we are working on new registration flow. So please select “New Registration” Event from the zap creation screen.

After selecting the Event, you need to select the “Nextiz Host Account” from where the Nextiz events data will come.

Or you can connect your host account also if you have your host account on the Nextiz Platform.

Please see the screenshot below for connecting to host account on Nextiz.

As you will select any host account from already connecting then it will work normally and go to on next step.

But if you want to connect any other host account from the Nextiz to Zapier and get their events data in the Zapier then click on “+Connect a new account”.

As you will click on the connect new account it will redirect to Nextiz portal login page and you need to login as host here and it will automatically connect to the Zapier if logged in successfully to host account.

Otherwise, if any host is already logged in then it will automatically connect to that host account without showing any login screen.

Please use any host account to login is this case on your end.

Step 4:

After connecting to a host account please select host event from the events list. You need to select host event under the “Set up trigger”. Select any event of connected host as shown in the screenshot.

The event you will select that registration data will receive here to send as email or to use in any other app

Step 5:

Click on test trigger to check if any new registration or any registration data exist in the event. Registration data will look like in the screenshot:

Step 6:

After click on continue select another action to which Nextiz data will be use. For example, I want to send Nextiz data to Google Sheets or send this data to Mailchimp or send my data as email to user on every new registration.

I am selecting “Gmail” app here to send every new registration to the send to email that email I will set here. You can use any Gmail account email to get this data on Gmail account.

Same steps will be followed for the “Gmail” app as we follow in the Nextiz integration like what event, and connecting to Gmail account by logged in or using already logged in account. And will set all settings to send an email or receive an email to the set “To”, “From” and “Subject” etc email in the Gmail app settings.
