Hello Everyone!
This month Nextiz has exclusively launched a new feature wherein the video can now be live-streamed and further there is Question & Answers (Q&A), poll and leader-board developed.
Hence, these new exciting features are super helpful and
Lets check how to use them:
On the day of the event (During Event):
Front End:
- By clicking on "Join Live Session" CTA user lands on the during event page.
2. List of current session and upcoming sessions will be present.
Under this page on the top where we have the banner, we will have a frame where Zoom meeting will be broadcasted via Vimeo or YouTube channel.
Q&A:
This will be visible in speaker portal for the particular sessions assigned to the speaker in session detail page.

Poll can also be launched when the video is live-streamed.
All these front end functionalities are controlled by the back-end. Lets see what all criteria needs to be followed in order to have these functionalities applicable:
1. Select event type as "Online" while saving the information of the event.
2. In Advance Settings, go to Event Site, and select the below fields as mentioned in the screenshot:
Go to: Advance Settings>Event Site
3. In-order to have the YouTube/Vimeo video played in the banner:
Go to Agenda & Sessions and add:
Agenda
1. Event Type Block shall be "LIVE-STREAM"
2. Embedded URL of the video from YouTube/Vimeo shall be added in the "Embedded URL" field
4. Polls are created from:
- Go to Forms>Polls
- Click on Create Poll
Add the question and save the poll
Launch the poll and it will be reflected in the front end. It can be stopped and controlled by the back-end.
